"At a price nearing $7000 the Reference Strada system is certainly not cheap, but it is worth every red cent of its asking price as it can, quite seriously, stand tall in comparison to systems twice its price. Very enthusiastically recommended." View the entire story

"The perhaps ultimate on-wall and desk-top speaker. Think of it as a low-efficiency single-driver widebander without shoutiness and higher resolution but equivalent coherence and speed." View the entire story

"...when I came across Gallo's newest speaker, the Reference Strada, I was getting psyched just thinking about its potential in a professional environment. No, these weren't intended for a studio, but neither were the A'Diva Ti's and they work brilliantly for me." --Neal H. Pogue, Grammy award-winning engineer (Outkast's "Hey Ya!") View the entire story

"They are truly excellent loudspeakers, and clearly better than my Reference 3.1s, clearly making them an excellent bargain at their $3400 system price." --Chris Groppi, HomeTheaterHiFi.com View the entire story

"The Gallo Reference 3.5 is most definitely a step up from the Reference 3.1 and the Strada/TR3 combo I recently tested. Its clearly better in every way than the 3.1, and improves significantly on the Strada, which was already better than the 3.1, except perhaps in the bass. Is it worth the extra dough as compared to the Strada? Is it worth upgrading an existing pair of 3.1s? For me, the answer to that is yes. I will be replacing my 3.1s with the new 3.5s. Theyre worth every dime, in my opinion." View the entire story

"The Reference 3.5 is a sure-footed, disciplined, and musically involving speaker that executed virtually all that I asked of it. Minor quibbles aside, the Ref 3.5 deserves an unhesitatingly high recommendation. And if deep, carefully, crafted soundscapes really stir your imagination, then experiencing the Gallo is an absolute must." View the entire story

"I've compared them to the two most highly regarded and expensive monitor speakers in high-end audio, respectively $15,000 and $30,000 a pair. The Stradas, floor-mounted on our custom ultra-rigid stands, simply outperformed both of them in every respect that matters, whether for music or soundtracks." --Pierre Sprey, Residential Systems View the entire story
